This looks to be brecciated jasper, which occurs frequently in the Kinneff area. It appealed to me mainly because of the bright contrasting colours and the detail. Occasionally, examples of agate are found at Kinneff that incorporate areas of brecciated jasper into usually, the upper area of the nodule. This piece however, does not seem to include any portions of agate. The stone was found by myself during the August of 2016, in very fine weather.
